Creating a chocolate martini can be as complicated as you want it to be, but it doesn't take much to make a delicious one.

Keeping with our "simplicity" theme, we prepared some martini glasses the day before by dipping their rims in chocolate and refrigerating them. The left-over chocolate was spread on a sheet of wax paper and also refrigerated.

On the day of the soirée, we filled the glass with Godiva Original Chocolate Liqueur and added a 1/2 shot of vodka. We crushed the left-over chocolate (in the wax paper) and sprinkled it on the drink. The smaller pieces stayed on top, while the larger pieces sunk to the bottom, giving our guests an extra sweet chocolatey surprise, just when they thought their drink was finished.

This drink is so good, we recommend you don't wait for a party to try it.
